By downloading, accessing, or using the Saymora mobile application ("App") or our website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not install or use our services.
2. Your Account
Saymora uses Sign in with Apple to create and secure your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of the Apple ID used to sign in.
- You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to use the App for personal, non-commercial language learning.
3. Course Downloads & Offline Use
Saymora is designed to work offline once content is downloaded.
- Downloaded courses are licensed to you for personal study on your own devices, not for redistribution.
- You are responsible for the storage space that downloaded courses use on your device.
- We may update course content over time; using "Manage courses" or "Repair course download" re-downloads the latest version.
4. Acceptable Use Guidelines
You agree to use the App lawfully and respectfully. You will not:
- Copy, extract, resell, or redistribute Saymora's courses, flashcards, audio, or translations.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical protections in the App.
- Use automated tools to scrape content or overload our servers or course-delivery systems.
5. Subscriptions & Purchases
Some courses or features may require a one-time purchase or subscription ("Saymora Plus").
- Payments, renewals, and refunds are processed by the Apple App Store under Apple's policies.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings.
6. Educational Disclaimer
Saymora is a study aid designed to help you learn a language through flashcards, review, and quizzes.
- We do not guarantee any specific level of fluency, exam result, or learning outcome.
- Translations and literal glosses are provided to aid understanding and may simplify nuance.
- Your progress depends on your own consistent practice.
7. Intellectual Property
All course content, flashcards, audio recordings, user interface designs, logos, and the Saymora name are the property of Saymora and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Use of our content or brand assets without written consent is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saymora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
