1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the DocsAI mobile application ("App") or our website ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not install or use our services.
2. Your Account
You can use DocsAI locally without an account. Signing in is required only for optional cloud sync and sharing.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of the account used to sign in.
- You must be old enough to consent to these Terms in your jurisdiction, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential.
3. Your Documents & Content
You retain all rights to the documents you scan, import, and store in DocsAI.
- You are solely responsible for the documents you capture and for having the right to scan and store them.
- You must not use DocsAI to process content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
- Documents stay on your device unless you enable cloud sync or choose to share them.
4. AI Features & Accuracy
DocsAI's assistant uses OCR and Google's Gemini AI to extract text and answer questions about your documents.
- OCR and AI answers are provided to assist you and may contain errors or omissions.
- Do not rely on AI answers as legal, financial, medical, or professional advice — always verify important details against the original document.
- You are responsible for how you use any information the App produces.
5. Acceptable Use Guidelines
You agree to use the App lawfully and respectfully. You will not:
- Use the App to scan, store, or share content you do not have the right to use.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical protections in the App.
- Use automated tools to abuse the AI service, scraping, or overload our servers.
6. Subscriptions & Purchases
Some features may require a one-time purchase or subscription ("DocsAI Pro").
- Payments, renewals, and refunds are processed by the app store under its policies.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your app store account settings.
7. Intellectual Property
The DocsAI app, user interface designs, logos, and the DocsAI name are the property of DocsAI and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Use of our brand assets without written consent is prohibited. This does not affect your ownership of your own documents.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocsAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including reliance on AI-generated output. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
